TRANSMISSION REVISION

Transmission overhaul is a service performed by examining a vehicle’s transmission system in detail and repairing, renewing or replacing defective or worn parts. This process aims to make the transmission last longer, operate properly and increase driving performance.

  1. Transmission Removal: As a first step, the vehicle’s transmission is removed from the vehicle. This step is important for a detailed examination of the transmission and to begin the necessary revision operations.
  2. Inspection of Parts: The parts inside the transmission are examined by experts. During this inspection, parts that are worn, damaged or need replacement are identified.
  3. Part Replacement: Among the parts inspected, those that are worn or damaged are replaced. This makes the transmission more durable and effective.
  4. Cleaning and Maintenance: Oil, dirt and other residues inside the transmission are cleaned. The internal surfaces of the gearbox are cleaned and, if necessary, re-lubricated.
  5. Reassembly: After the overhaul operations are completed, the transmission parts are reassembled. At this stage, the torque converter, clutch packs, gear sets and other important parts are assembled correctly.
  6. Setting and Testing: Necessary adjustments are made for the transmission to operate correctly. Next, the transmission is tested and its performance is checked.
  7. Warranty and Support: Some overhaul service providers may provide customers with a specific period or mileage limited warranty because they are confident in their work.
